Text Messages

Effective 26 August 2026

This page sets out how Plot Pulse uses text messages: who we text, what we send, and how to stop. It restates, in one place, what sections 3.2 and 3.3 of our Terms of Service say as part of the agreement.

The program

Plot Pulse, operated by Plot Technologies Inc. at pulse.useplot.com. Plot Pulse is a voice-survey service: you ask to be called, an AI agent interviews you by phone, and everyone who took part gets an anonymous summary. The texts exist to support that call — they are not a marketing program, and there is no marketing list.

Who we text

Only a number somebody entered on pulse.useplot.com themselves, on the page that starts a call. There is no other way onto this list. We do not buy, rent, or import phone numbers, we do not text numbers a pulse creator supplies, and every respondent enters their own number on their own device.

How you opt in

You enter your phone number and tap Call me. Directly above that button, before you tap it, is the consent line naming who is texting, what the texts are, that frequency varies, that rates may apply, and how to get help or stop. Tapping the button is the opt-in.

We store what you agreed to, not just that you agreed: the exact wording you were shown, its version, your number, and the time. If we cannot record it, we do not make the call.

What we send

  • the link to the pulse you created or answered;
  • a sign-in code, when you ask for one;
  • follow-up questions about that same pulse, as its brief develops — from its creator, never from us on our own behalf.

That is the whole list. No promotions, no newsletters, no messages about any other pulse, and nothing on behalf of a third party.

How often

Message frequency varies. It depends on the pulse you took part in and how its brief develops. A pulse that never follows up sends you one text — the link — and nothing more.

What it costs

Plot Pulse is free today, and paid options may come later (Terms 10). We never charge for a text either way. Message and data rates may apply — your mobile carrier sets those, not us, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Getting help

Reply HELP or INFO to any of our texts and we will reply with how to reach us. You can also write to help@plot.team or use our contact page at any time.

Stopping

Reply STOP to any of our texts. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT all work the same way.

We send one confirmation that you are unsubscribed and nothing after it. To start again, reply START — or simply ask for a call again from the site, which is a fresh request and clears the earlier opt-out.

Stopping texts does not delete what you have already told us. Our Privacy Policy sets out how to ask for that.

Your number and your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is never shown to the creator of a pulse, and it is never sold. The providers who do see it — our telephony carrier, and the hosting that stores it — are listed by name in the Privacy Policy, and none of them may use it for their own purposes.
